As a leading supplier of payroll software solutions, SwissSalary Ltd. is aware of its responsibility to maintain the highest standards of integrity, professionalism and ethics.

This Code of Conduct is designed to guide all our employees, partners, customers, suppliers, service providers and other third parties that have business relations with SwissSalary Ltd. to ensure that our daily activities and business decisions are consistent with our values.

We do not strive for profit at any cost, but rather want to achieve our goals by acting responsibly, transparently and lawfully.

The Code of Conduct does not provide an exhaustive list of rules of conduct. It does not relieve us of the responsibility to act using common sense and personal integrity and to demonstrate respect and empathy in dealing with one another. However, by keeping our shared values in mind, we create a foundation for a strong corporate culture that shapes all our business cooperation.

By doing this, we ensure that SwissSalary Ltd. not only stands for first-class software solutions, but also for ethical behaviour, transparency and fairness.

SwissSalary Ltd. expects all employees and contractors to fully comply with all applicable laws and regulations as well as the values, principles and rules contained in this Code of Conduct. Our business purpose makes the rules applicable to data protection and IT security particularly important. All of SwissSalary Ltd. employees also undertake to respect all relevant internal regulations, instructions and guidelines.

Safety and health are our top priority. SwissSalary Ltd. and all its employees and contractors undertake to consistently comply with the occupational safety and health laws and regulations in the workplace and to promote a mindset of health and well-being in the workplace.

SwissSalary Ltd. seeks to build success on innovation, quality and customer satisfaction and not on unfair business practices. SwissSalary Ltd. believes that free and open competition leads to high-quality products and services. SwissSalary Ltd. expects that all actions that restrict competition will be avoided and that competitors will be treated respectfully and fairly. SwissSalary Ltd. rejects any agreements on prices, quantities, markets, regions or customers that restrict competition.

SwissSalary Ltd. does not tolerate any form of bribery or corruption, whether through direct or indirect actions. SwissSalary Ltd. neither offers nor authorizes corruption and bribery payments, nor does SwissSalary Ltd. demand or accept them from third parties. In particular, SwissSalary Ltd. does not grant any undue advantages to secure an order, to public officials to act or to abstain from an official act or to merely maintain relationships. Minor and customary courtesy gifts or invitations offered within reasonable limits and without the intention of making an influence are exceptionally accepted by SwissSalary Ltd., provided that internal guidelines are met.

Business decision-making is exclusively objective and in the best interests of the company. Conflicts of interest in which personal interests could collide with the interests of SwissSalary Ltd. must be strictly avoided. Circumstances that lead to conflicts of interest and cannot be avoided or other moral constraints must be disclosed.

Transparency is a core value at SwissSalary Ltd. SwissSalary Ltd. expects all employees and contractors to act honestly, candidly and openly. Transparency is crucial for trust and forms the basis for sustainable success. In view of the above, open, honest and clear communication is expected in all business activities.

SwissSalary Ltd. requires all employees and contractors to consistently work towards a working environment in which diversity and tolerance are valued, and every form of discrimination is actively combated. All people must be treated with high regard, respect and dignity. Discriminatory actions, in particular on account of the origin, nationality, gender, sexual orientation, religion or age, or violations of personality will not be tolerated in any way. SwissSalary Ltd. takes a stand for gender equality and equal treatment of all people of different origins or backgrounds. Equal opportunities must be promoted by implementing targeted measures and by creating space for personal development and advancement.

SwissSalary Ltd. recognizes that a certain degree of willingness to embrace risk is necessary to promote innovation and growth. However, efficient risk management is essential. Risk recognition and management is crucial for dealing with risks responsibly, for identifying potential threats at an early stage, for taking appropriate actions and thus ensuring business continuity.

Responsible data as well as information security handling and protection is of paramount importance and priority for SwissSalary Ltd. SwissSalary Ltd. is aware of high sensitivity of data and information entrusted to it and expects the same from its employees and contractors. All business information, whether internal or external, must be treated confidentially, data protection regulations must be strictly observed and effective protective measures and controls must be implemented and maintained to ensure information security at all times.

Companies’ intellectual property is a valuable asset that requires protection. SwissSalary Ltd. requires that all employees and contractors protect SwissSalary Ltd.’s intellectual property and respect the intellectual property of others to the same extent.

Taking into account both current and future requirements of society, the economy and the environment is essential to fulfil the responsibility towards future generations. SwissSalary Ltd. expects products, services and processes to correspond to sustainable ecological, economic and social development and to always be of the state-of-the-art technology.

SwissSalary Ltd. encourages all recipients to express themselves freely. Every person, regardless of whether they are employed by SwissSalary Ltd. or not, is called upon to report concerns, suspicions or violations related to the Code of Conduct to the Executive Board, Legal& Compliance or HR. Such a report can also be submitted anonymously. The information received will be treated as strictly confidential. Any suspicion of violations of this Code, other internal regulations or applicable laws will be investigated thoroughly. In the event of confirmed misconduct, the competent decision-making body can impose sanctions. Discrimination or retaliation of any kind against persons who in good faith report a violation of this Code of Conduct will not be tolerated.
